Konsep Pendidikan Shalat pada Anak Usia Dini dalam Perspektif Hadis

Shalat is the second pillar of Islam after the declaration of faith and serves as the foundation for spiritual and moral formation. However, many adolescents neglect shalat due to inadequate religious education during early childhood. This study aims to explore the concept of shalat education for early childhood from the perspective of hadith and to identify the phases that parents should follow in cultivating shalat habits. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research design, this study analyzes relevant hadith sources such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and Musnad Ahmad, along with contemporary educational literature. The findings reveal that shalat education must begin gradually through stages of habituation, modeling, advice, and discipline starting from birth until the age of seven. Early introduction to shalat develops children’s discipline, focus, and emotional stability while strengthening their faith and moral awareness. Therefore, parents and educators play a crucial role in establishing consistent shalat education as a foundation for Islamic character building.

Abstrak
Shalat merupakan rukun Islam kedua setelah syahadat dan menjadi dasar pembentukan spiritual serta moral seorang muslim. Namun, banyak remaja yang lalai dalam melaksanakannya akibat kurangnya pendidikan agama sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan shalat bagi anak usia dini dalam perspektif hadis serta mengidentifikasi fase-fase yang perlu ditempuh orang tua dalam menanamkan kebiasaan shalat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan yang menganalisis sumber hadis seperti Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, dan Musnad Ahmad, serta literatur pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan shalat perlu dilakukan secara bertahap melalui metode pembiasaan, keteladanan, nasihat, dan kedisiplinan sejak anak lahir hingga usia tujuh tahun. Pengenalan shalat sejak dini terbukti mampu menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, konsentrasi, ketenangan hati, serta memperkuat keimanan dan kesadaran moral anak. Oleh karena itu, peran orang tua dan pendidik sangat penting dalam menanamkan pendidikan shalat secara konsisten sebagai fondasi pembentukan karakter Islami.
