Model Outbound Dalam Mengembangkan Motorik Kasar: Studi Kasus di TK Dharma Rini 1 Kota Pasuruan

This study examines the implementation of outbound activities to develop gross motor skills among Class A children at Dharma Rini 1 Kindergarten, Pasuruan, during the 2021/2022 academic year. Gross motor skills involve the ability to coordinate large muscles for activities such as jumping, running, and balancing, which are essential for children’s physical and social development. Outbound learning, as an experiential outdoor activity, is believed to enhance these abilities through play-based and interactive experiences. This qualitative descriptive study employed a case study approach, with data collected through unstructured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that (1) outbound planning was integrated into PROTA, PROSEM, RPPM, and RPPH; (2) implementation involved opening, core, and closing activities; and (3) evaluation used a daily developmental scale. Outbound activities were found to effectively improve children’s coordination, agility, and confidence in physical movement.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengkaji pelaksanaan kegiatan outbound untuk mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak kelas A di TK Dharma Rini 1 Pasuruan tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Motorik kasar mencakup kemampuan mengoordinasikan otot besar untuk aktivitas seperti melompat, berlari, dan menjaga keseimbangan, yang penting bagi perkembangan fisik dan sosial anak. Pembelajaran outbound sebagai kegiatan belajar melalui pengalaman di alam terbuka diyakini mampu meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut melalui pengalaman bermain yang interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan outbound diintegrasikan dalam PROTA, PROSEM, RPPM, dan RPPH; (2) pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan pembuka, inti, dan penutup; serta (3) evaluasi menggunakan skala perkembangan harian. Kegiatan outbound terbukti efektif meningkatkan koordinasi, kelincahan, dan kepercayaan diri anak dalam bergerak.
