Pengembangan Bahasa Anak Usia Dini Melalui Metode Cerita Bergambar Pada Kelompok A di RA Walisongo Jember

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to six years of age to help physical and spiritual growth and development so that children have the readiness to enter further education. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the application and evaluation of language learning through the picture story method in Group A students in Raudhatul Athfal Walisongo Jember. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model analysis is data reduction, data display, and data verification or conclusion. To test the validity of the data using source triangulation, triangulation techniques, and triangulation time. The results showed that: 1) the application of the picture story method in language learning in Group A students in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Walisongo Jember, namely: a) teachers design activities before doing picture story Activities, b) teachers as a model in pronouncing words or sentences, c) teacher interaction with students using the correct Indonesian language. 2) evaluation of the application of the picture story Method to students of Group A Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Walisongo Jember, namely: an a) evaluation of checklist format (√) scale of developmental achievements, b) evaluation of teacher and student conversations, c) evaluation of the performance of students telling stories in front of the class.
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) adalah suatu upaya pembinaan yang ditujukan kepada anak sejak lahir sampai dengan usia enam tahun, untuk membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jasmani dan rohani agar anak memiliki kesiapan dalam memasuki pendidikan lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan, menganalisa penerapan dan evaluasi pembelajaran berbahasa melalui metode cerita bergambar pada peserta didik Kelompok A di Raudhatul Athfal Walisongo Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verivikasi data atau kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, trianggulasi teknik dan trianggulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Penerapan metode cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran berbahasa pada peserta didik kelompok A di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Walisongo Jember, yaitu: a) Guru merancang kegiatan sebelum melakukan kegiatan cerita bergambar, b) Guru sebagai model dalam mengucapkan kata atau kalimat, c) Interaksi guru dengan peserta didik menggunakan bahasa indonesia yang benar. 2) Evaluasi penerapan metode cerita bergambar pada peserta didik kelompok A Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Walisongo Jember, yaitu: a) Evaluasi format checklist (√) skala capaian perkembangan, b) Evaluasi percakapan guru dan peserta didik, c) Evaluasi unjuk kerja peserta didik bercerita di depan kelas.
