Abstract

Early childhood is a period of rapid development, often referred to as the golden age, during which creativity becomes a crucial aspect to nurture. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers as educators, mentors, and facilitators in fostering the creativity of Group A children at Mukhtarsyafaat Kindergarten, Banyuwangi, through the use of kinetic sand media. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, which are analyzed using the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal that teachers play an active role in providing guidance, assisting in the use of media, and offering creative learning facilities. This role helps children develop motor skills, imaginative thinking, and creativity. Kinetic sand media has proven effective in enhancing creativity, supported by teacher involvement. This study highlights the importance of innovation in early childhood education to support children's optimal development.
