Penggunaan Permainan Edukatif Tradisional dalam Mengembangkan Motorik Kasar Anak Usia Dini

Children are individuals who are in the process of rapid growth. Physical development becomes the basis for the development of the next development, which is marked by the development of gross and refined motor. One of many aspects that can develop the physical development of a child's gross motor is egrang batok or coconut batok from the Province of South Sulawesi. This traditional game can be used for media of joyful learning. The purpose of this study was to develop crude motor development of children with traditional egrang batok games. Research methods used were library research with content analysis. This research suggested that the use of traditional games theoretically could be able to develop children physical skills and explore his environment without any helping of others.
Anak usia dini adalah individu yang sedang mengalami proses pertumbuhan yang sangat pesa. Perkembangan fisik merupakan hal yang menjadi dasar bagi bagi kemajuan perkembangan berikutnya, yang ditandai dengan berkembangnya motorik kasar dan halus. Salah satu aspek yang dapat mengembangkan perkembangan fisik motorik kasar anak adalah egrang batok atau batok kelapa yang berasal dari Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Permainan tradisional ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelaran yang menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak dengan permainan tradisional egrang batok. Metode penelitian yang dipakai library research dengan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara teoritis penggunaan permainan tradisional mampu mengembangkan keterampilan fisiknya, dan eksplorasi lingkungannya dengan tanpa bantuan orang lain.
